My Awakening
I have been a long time member of the LDS Church. I was raised Catholic but converted along with my family as a teenager. I served a mission to Chile, married in the temple and served in many callings. I noticed little things over the years that snowballed. By the time 2020 rolled around I was skeptical of the Church and their Covid response pushed me over the edge.
I was relieved to come across the awakened communities and understand that Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon were not the problem, Brigham Young and the polygamist were.
I always thought my understanding of the gospel was good, but it has grown ten fold since associating with awakened Numo groups. I love and understand the scriptures more than ever and I am even starting to understand Isaiah.
